About the Role:
A college in Redhill is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Level 4 Counselling Lecturer to join its team for the upcoming academic year. This is a sessional (hourly paid) position, with exact hours to be confirmed. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Counselling at Level 4
* Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
* Support learners in achieving their academic and personal goals
* Provide feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and awarding body standards
Requirements:
* Proven teaching experience in counselling at Level 4 or higher
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
* Relevant counselling qualifications and professional experience
* Strong understanding of curriculum design and learner assessment
* Experience with SEG training and research methods is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
