The post holder will provide administrative and operational support to the Imaging Network, assist in project documentation, coordinate recovery activities and ensure smooth functioning of the network operations.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Imaging Network in organising and maintaining project documentation, including closure reports, corrective action plans and recovery progress updates.
* Identify and reconcile key stakeholder interests in projects.
* Identify, assess and prioritise risks associated with the projects.
* Run the day‑to‑day tasks of assigned projects to provide successful outcomes.
* Champion service improvement and transformation and motivate colleagues to work together to deliver success.
* Assist project sponsors to identify alternative solutions and adapt where initial ideas are unworkable or do not fit strategically.
* Report on project status to project and programme managers.
* Work on own initiative with a sound understanding of programme objectives, manage workload and ensure communication is appropriate.
* Schedule tasks, set milestones and liaise with colleagues ensuring target dates are met and project objectives are achieved.
* Maintain appropriate reports, meeting minutes, key actions and share them to facilitate project milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
* Experience in programme/project management or administrative/PMO roles.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex, sensitive issues to a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical colleagues.
* Knowledge of NHS governance, quality improvement and transformation principles.
* Licensed or eligible for current UK professional registration.
* Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development.
