Our team brings together mobility and infrastructure specialists with experience in managing hyper-growth and mass roll-out. We are looking for an energetic field-based EV Electrician (Installation Manager) to join us and help scale the business in the North of England.
What You Will Be Doing
* Overseeing contractors on all aspects of the installation process
* Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
* On-site commissioning and remote support to manage communications with CK operating systems
* Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
* Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions and safety hazards
* Provide professional assessments and advice for customers and provide 2nd line support
* Fault finding and diagnosis and reporting
* Provide support on research and development testing activities
* Complete full and detailed site surveys
* Custom circuit design
* Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
* In the field, be a critical part of ensuring excellent service for our customers
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Qualified electrician, with experience in domestic and commercial 3 phase work
* NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, 18th Edition preferable
* A professional approach to all aspects of work
* Full valid driving licence
* An understanding of industry governance and compliance
* EV Car charging experience (preferred)
* Comfortable with basic software setups of our chargers and use of IT equipment – training will be given if required
* Experience with data cabling
Preferred Skills And Experience
* CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified preferred
