We have a new and exciting opportunity within CANW for a Placements and Recruitment Officer to be part of the Care and Accommodation team at CANW. The Placements and Recruitment Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing daily referrals, and placement requests from commissioningpartners and agencies.
Job roles and responsibilities:
* To be the first line of contact for all prospective foster carers, providing a flexible, timely, warmand welcoming response to all enquiries, tracking details in the agency systems.
To keep up with marketing trends within the fostering sector and strive to create ongoing interestfor CANW through use of social media, website updates and recruitment events.
* To assist in the recruitment of foster carers through working with the business development andsocial work teams in line with the fostering recruitment strategy.
Our perfect candidate will be a team player who will help us drive forward our ambition for growth, innovation and excellence across our service portfolio along with the following attributes:
Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships.
Ability to monitor and suggest improvements to systems to measure outcomes for services.
