The Education Network are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support schools in and around the North Yorkshire area. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work, and managing student behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor you will also support the school during non-cover periods, which may include general teaching assistant duties and wider student support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise students in the absence of teaching staff
2. Deliver work set by the class teacher
3. Maintain good order and ensure students remain on task
4. Provide general support across the school when not covering lessons

5. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is desirable
6. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills
8. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
