Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the day-to-day operations of the dental practice. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and a welcoming demeanour to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to optimise patient flow.
* Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and patient information.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a dental setting.
* Strong administrative skills with proficiency in using EXACT software and equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A friendly and approachable personality that puts patients at ease.
