This position is responsible for building and maintaining a temporary staffing desk. To actively participate in new business generation to ensure the sales targets are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and manage any new business and to build strong relationships with clients and staff.
2. Attract candidates through advertising in a wide range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals.
3. Screen candidates, interview them, conduct background checks and match them to their clients. Work with client companies, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements.
4. Manage and growing a busy temporary desk for the company
5. Conduct sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies
6. Working towards KPI’s, targets and objectives on a daily/weekly/monthly basis that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
7. Building relationships with clients and developing a good understanding of what they do, and their work culture and environment
8. Record results on the Aspire system
9. Dealing with complaints and passing any on to the Senior Temp Consultant and Office Manager depending on the nature of the complaint
10. Establishing where there is a need for recruiting new staff, and drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media
Personal Specification:
11. Proven sales experience
12. Self-motivation and a team player
13. Good communication skills both with internal and external customers
14. Customer focused
15. Able to work on own initiative
16. Full understanding of the Aspire system is desirable
