Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational/cleaning tasks within our café. Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Assist customers with orders, answer queries, and provide friendly service to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or other light food items as required.
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the register system.
* Manage stock levels by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
* Uphold health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
* Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
Requirements
* Previous barista experience is strongly preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
* Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Good time management skills to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
* Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
* Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
