A well-known manufacturer of precision parts based in Blackburn are recruiting for a CNC Programmer on a permanent day shift, operating and programming CNC lathes for a range of machined tools. The role is offering £38,000 - £42,000 p/a with an annual bonus of up to 10% and overtime available, with additional training & development opportunities offered on a regular basis.
What you'll do:
1. Program and operate advanced CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components essential for mould tooling and production support across various departments.
2. Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, configuring fixtures, and adjusting parameters to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
3. Develop, refine, and optimise lathe programs using CAM software to achieve precise machining outcomes for complex turned parts.
4. Interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models to guarantee the accurate production of components that meet stringent quality standards.
