We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join a forward-thinking and reputable law firm. This is a permanent, full-time role based in the Woodford area with flexible hybrid working options available. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 - 5 year PQE Key focus areas: · Advise clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate administration. · Draft and review legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. · Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes. · Manage a diverse caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care. · Liaise with third parties such as financial institutions, tax authorities, and other solicitors as necessary. · Keep abreast of changes in legislation affecting private client work and implement best practices within the firm. · Provide guidance on tax implications and strategies related to estate planning Key skills required: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with recent experience handling private client work in a law firm setting. Solid technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney, and inheritance tax matters. Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving capabilities with a meticulous and organised approach to caseload management. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, approachable manner to clients and colleagues alike. Demonstrable commitment to delivering a high standard of client care and building long-term client relationships. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional, supportive team and a proactive approach to ongoing development. Digital literacy, including experience with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications. STEP qualification or working towards is advantageous but not essential.
