Children and Families Team - Social Worker
Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38.43 Umbrella
Caerphilly County Borough Council
* To identify unmet need arising from assessments, and bring these to the attention of managers within Childrens Services.
* To assist in the collection of data by ensuring that the required administrative processes are properly completed at the required time.
* Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice.
* To attend agreed training to improve knowledge and skills, both for skill enhancement and personal development.
* To attend departmental meetings, and provide written or verbal reports as required.
* To liaise and work jointly with staff of other Directorates and agencies as appropriate.
* To ensure that all work is carried out in line with statutory requirements and the Directorates policies and procedures.

* A relevant Social Work Qualification
* Registration with Social Care Wales
* Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
* 3 Years of referencing
* Driving license with access to a car
