Full-Time Music Teacher– Southampton, Hampshire

GSL Education are on the lookout for a Design & Technology Teacher in Southampton, starting this January 2026.This is a full-time role. Permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been completed. This full-time role is welcoming both ECTs and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across secondary Key Stages.
* Encourage students to develop their performance, composition, and listening skills.
* Direct ensembles, choirs, or school performances to showcase student talent.
* Foster creativity, discipline, and appreciation for music from various genres and cultures.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop a rich and inclusive music curriculum.
* Assess, record, and support students’ musical progress and confidence.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Music.
* Ability to engage students of varying abilities and interests.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
