Overview
Senior Commercial Manager — Competitive Day Rate — Leiston. 3 days office based, 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Supports the Nuclear Island and Conventional Island programmes, making it well-suited to candidates with a technical or engineering background.
* Acts as the lead supply chain/commercial representative for assigned contracts, reporting to a Supply Chain Lead.
* Operates within a multi-disciplinary team and engages closely with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, across a technically complex programme.
* Holds delegated authority to make decisions and carry out core responsibilities in line with project governance and expectations.
* With the SZC Project entering the contract formation phase, this is a growth opportunity for the right individual as responsibilities expand with the project's progression.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience working within Infrastructure, Earthworks or Building & Civils industries is essential. Other highly regulated industries will be considered.
* Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract is essential.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Progressing to full membership of the RICS / CICES / IOB is preferable.
* Able to demonstrate a noteworthy track record of administering successful contracts.
* Understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management.
