Mechanical Project Manager
£65,000 - £70,000 + package (DOE)

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded M&E contractor based in Ipswich who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager. The role will involve managing large-scale commercial projects from pre-construction through to final handover, with mechanical values up to £8 million.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage mechanical services packages on large commercial projects from inception to completion.
•Take full ownership of project delivery including programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety.
•Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal delivery teams.
•Manage subcontractors, procurement, and material scheduling.
•Oversee commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
•Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
•Produce regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / building services sector.
•Experience delivering commercial projects, ideally with values up to £8m.
•Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc.)
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
•Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (preferred)
•SMSTS / CSCS (or willingness to obtain)
