Contract Automated QA Engineer – Java, AWS, UI to Console

We're supporting a well-known retail brand as they scale out their digital platform. They’re looking for a Contract QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across a fast-moving engineering function, covering the entire stack — from Java microservices to UI testing, all built on AWS-native services.
🔧 Tech stack:
* Java, Spring Boot
* AWS – Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, Kinesis Streams, Data Analytics, API Gateway
* RESTful API testing frameworks
* Exposure to TypeScript (UI/service-level test scripting)
✅ What you’ll bring:
* Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites
* Strong background testing Java services, APIs, and cloud-based workflows
* Familiarity with AWS serverless and event-driven architectures
* Able to work independently in agile delivery teams, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines
