Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operative to join a busy night shift warehouse and yard operation in Slough. This is a fast-paced logistics environment requiring a proactive individual with strong FLT skills, attention to detail, and commitment to health & safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to safely load and unload goods
* Moving stock efficiently within the warehouse and yard
* Supporting stock control, storage, and distribution operations
* Carrying out daily FLT safety checks and equipment inspections
* Ensuring accurate handling and placement of goods
* Adhering to all health & safety regulations and site procedures
* Assisting with general warehouse duties where required
* Supporting the night shift operation to meet deadlines
Requirements
1. Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent)
2. Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
3. Ability to work night shifts (22:00 start)
4. Strong understanding of health & safety practices
