An excellent occupational pension scheme Generous annual leave plus 8 statutory bank holidays Your Role: Lead, mentor and provide supervision to a dedicated small team of social workers and community care officers with the support of the Team Manager Work closely with internal and external professionals including Occupational Therapists, Police, Housing, voluntary agencies and Health Manage a small, complex caseload with a mix of priorities Champion the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals and lead on complex safeguarding enquiries as safeguarding manager Foster integrated working with partners and promote independence through reablement and enablement approaches What We're Looking For: A qualified social worker registered with Social Work England Experience as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP), Best Interests Assessor (BIA), or Practice Educator (Level 2) Knowledge and experience in safeguarding adults within multiagency procedures Strong supervisory, training, and development skills A full driver's license and access to a car for work (unless disability precludes this) Experience of prioritising and risk assessing situation in a fast paced environment Experience of working with people with a variety of needs and have a excellent working knowledge and experience of people a with cognitive impairment Join us on our journey to create a positive and inclusive environment in Adult Social Care.
