Service Manager Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Renal Medicine
Full Time, Fixed Term Bank/Agency, Band 8A
Exciting opportunities have arisen for an experienced operations manager to lead the following specialties:
* Gastroenterology
* Endoscopy
* Renal Medicine
Key responsibilities include:
* Take overall management responsibility of the departments and ensure all key performance indicators are delivered safely and well‑led.
* Deliver recovery plans and support service developments.
* Engage with stakeholders across the trust, including external users such as the Croydon GP Collaborative.
* Lead procurement projects related to departmental initiatives.
* Accountable for day‑to‑day operational issues within areas of responsibility and responsible for service delivery.
* Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Associate Director of Operations, General Manager (where appropriate), Associate Director of Nursing, Clinical Heads of Service, and matrons in planning, development, provision and review of services.
The successful candidate will possess strong organisational and leadership skills, ability to make decisions on operational matters and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
