The Entertainer – Seasonal Sales Assistant
At The Entertainer in Middlesbrough (Captain Cooke Square) we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant.
Key Information About This Role
* Pay for 16‑20 year olds: £11.00 per hour.
* Pay for 21+ year olds: £12.21 per hour.
* Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.
* The store is open 7 days a week so you will need to be available at weekends including Sundays.
The Hours We Have Available For This Store
* 8‑hour per week contract: Typically offered 4‑hour shifts over 2 days or perhaps one full day at times.
* Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week.
* Opportunities for extra hours depending on trade.
* Will need to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve – some of our busiest days of the year.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Reliable and flexible with hours; extra hours may be offered if we are busy.
* Approachable and confident in delivering excellent customer service.
* Physically fit and able to move stock, work with deliveries and pallets.
* Willing and able to help out in our local Tesco concession space: merchandising, restocking shelves, handling deliveries.
