A bit about the role:
Working from our warehouse in north-east Manchester, the Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
You will be working in a team environment, with an emphasis on hitting group daily goals and meeting Gamma stakeholder and external customer needs.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified).
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Assist with stock takes and inventory audits.
Follow company procedures and work collaboratively with team members.
What you'll bring:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not essential).
Exposure to warehousing and supply chain management systems (preferred but not essential).
