Care Coordinator (Domiciliary Care)
Shifts
Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week. Availability to be on call and work weekends where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate home care services to ensure efficient delivery and high standards of care.
- Support care management: maintain records, produce reports, investigate complaints from service users and employees.
- Produce staffing rotas: create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure coverage.
- Operational awareness: stay informed about current operational issues, regulations, emergency procedures and company policies.
- Emergency duties: provide out‑of‑office, hands‑on care, on‑call duties, attend social events and offer telephone assistance when required.
- Liaise with stakeholders: communicate and coordinate with other departments, employees, commissioners, customers and the public.
- Perform additional duties as requested to support the branch’s success.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ/QCF 3 (or working towards) in Health and Social Care or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar domiciliary care role.
- Leadership skills: proven ability to lead, delegate and mentor staff.
- Experience in a care role; genuine passion for helping others.
- Organisational skills and reliability; manage staffing rotas and multiple responsibilities.
- Flexibility: willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Professional diligence: manage care tasks and wellbeing checks with care and professionalism.
- Willingness to undergo background checks.
- Availability to work in the office and deliver home care when required.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle; willing to obtain work‑related car insurance.
