About the Role
As a Staff SRE, you’ll be instrumental in designing and maintaining highly reliable systems that support critical research, compute, and trading workloads. You’ll work across both cloud and on-prem environments, partnering closely with developers and researchers to ensure speed, resilience, and observability at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own and evolve monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems for complete platform visibility.
* Architect, build, and support scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
* Enhance research platforms and high-performance computing clusters.
* Improve CI/CD workflows and development tooling.
* Troubleshoot and respond to production incidents with a focus on root-cause resolution.
* Champion and embed an SRE culture across engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For
* 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering role ideally most within high-performance HFT or Quant Trading environments.
* Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployment and operations.
* Hands-on knowledge of GitOps workflows using tools like Argo CD, GitLab CI.
* Practical experience in cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS) and hybrid deployments.
* Familiarity with batch/HPC workloads, containerization, and orchestration.
* Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation.
* Comfortable working independently and resolving issues in high-stakes production systems.
* Exposure to bare-metal infrastructure and K8s operators.
* Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
* Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
