Job Title: SEN Teacher

Salary: £120 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

A rewarding role is now available in Middlesbrough, where GSL Education are seeking a committed, compassionate, and skilled special educational needs (SEN) Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community dedicated to supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities of Teacher of SEN:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN
* Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) alongside support staff and families
* Monitor, assess, and record student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
* Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements for Teacher of SEN:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a genuine passion for SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learners
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
* A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
