Aspire People is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Wolverhampton, and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join their team five days a week from November, on an ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified DT teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in students. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we want to hear from you!
The Role:
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 Design & Technology
* Delivering engaging and creative lessons across a range of DT subjects (Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics)
* Planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Working closely with department staff to maintain high academic standards
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school (preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* A genuine passion for education and student development
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one through Aspire People)
