CAD Technician

Leeds – commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley, Pudsey

£35,000 to £40,000 + Training + Progression + Early Finish Friday + Benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a growing manufacturer, where you’ll play a key role supporting bespoke projects from design through to manufacture while developing your technical expertise and progressing your career.

This company is a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to commercial projects across the UK and internationally. Having built an excellent reputation over several decades, it continues to grow and is now looking to recruit a CAD Technician.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

* Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings
* Creating manufacturing and assembly documentation
* Supporting Project Managers and Production teams
* Ensuring customer requirements are translated into accurate manufacturing drawings


Ideal candidate

* Experience producing manufacturing drawings within an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks


Requirements

* CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, Draughtsperson or similar
* Experience creating manufacturing drawings
* AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD proficiency
* Commutable to Leeds
