Description The role of Portfolio Manager is to build relationships with clients and to have direct responsibility of client portfolios. They are responsible for the delivery of an outstanding service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic advice on financial and business matters.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand our client base and enhance service offerings.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead, mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Manage and grow own portfolio of clients.
• Ensure that all discussions, deadlines, and actions for client are delivered.
• Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
Key Requirements
Key Requirements • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with extensive experience in audit and accounting within a reputable accounting firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, team members, and firm leadership.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Business development acumen with a proven ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and expansion.
