Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during their stay. Previous experience in hotels or janitorial services is highly valued, as it contributes to the overall guest experience.
Duties
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required.
* Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a tidy environment.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored correctly.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
* Assist with laundry services as needed.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Skills
* Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; hospitality experience is highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
* Janitorial experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A friendly and approachable demeanour, ensuring positive interactions with guests and colleagues alike.
