Vacancy at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Senior Specialist OT supporting orthopaedic patients at TESH. HCPC registered. Working with senior team at TESH, pre‑ and post‑operatively, inpatient care, discharge, leadership and service improvement. Supported by Band 7 colleagues, Clinical Lead OT and OT Professional Lead at TGH.
Responsibilities
* Support orthopaedic patients pre‑ and post‑operatively.
* Deliver pre‑operative education sessions and interventions.
* Provide inpatient therapy interventions and support discharge from hospital.
* Coordinate and monitor caseload, manage outpatients and inpatients.
* Supervise, provide leadership and teaching to OT team and Band 3/4 staff.
* Work across 7 days, support twilight shifts up to 8pm on weekdays.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered Senior Specialist OT with experience working with orthopaedic patients at a senior level.
* Experience delivering group sessions to benefit patients.
* Strong leadership skills, ability to coordinate caseload and supervise team.
* Flexible and committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
* Band 7 OT service supported by Clinical Lead OT and OT Professional Lead.
