Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Guide students through GCSE PE coursework and exam preparation.
* Incorporate various sports, fitness activities, and health education into lessons.
* Work alongside the department to enhance the PE curriculum with up-to-date sports science insights.
* Support extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, and competitions.
* Develop and manage school sports teams.
* Organize and lead school sports events.
* Maintain and manage PE department resources and equipment.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of PE department policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
* PGCE or QTS.
* Experience teaching PE up to KS4.
* Ability to inspire and engage students of diverse sporting abilities.
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum for PE.
