This role sits within the within the Online Proposition and Activity team. As the George.com Activity Co-ordinator you will play an integral part within the George.com team who manage all activity, promotions, events, campaigns for the website. Alongside this, the team work with the digital marketing teams to help build a robust marketing plan based on key brand moments, customer insight and performance data. George.com is an integral part of the wider George growth strategy. We are one of the top clothing retailers in the UK and our homeware division is going from strength to strength. As the ecommerce landscape continuously shifts, we must adapt alongside it, and this makes for a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced working environment
1. Be the central point of contact for the Digital Customer/Marketing teams across the business into George.com, ensuring all channels are briefed on activity to drive commercial performance.
2. Work with the Activity team to build & maintain the George.com website activity & creative plan. Ensuring highly commercial and customer relevant plans are delivered using customer insight data and in line with the campaign and trading team priorities.
3. Plan & manage the full George.com events plan. Responsible for the events critical path & holding stakeholders accountable for the execution of the event. Co-ordinate meetings & work with a wide range of teams across George & ASDA to ensure events land on time with the best customer experience.
4. Build & maintain CRM plans with the marketing teams using customer insight, previous performance data & business priorities to drive out an engaging communication plan.
5. Manage campaigns & execution of new brands/partnerships and initiatives on both fashion & home.
6. Work with the agency to manage the programme of third-party brand placements across the website, driving revenue opportunities. Managing the process George side supporting client conversations and providing data driven insights to support pitching and client relationships.
7. Co-ordinate the autopsy process for key activity, campaigns and events across the various teams in George.
8. Complete weekly competitor analysis to understand the themes & activities set by other fashion & home e-commerce retailers.
9. Analyse website activity performance and make decisions to help improve sales and/or customer experience.

10. Experience within an E-commerce business would be an advantage but not essential
11. Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload is essential
12. Self-motivated with a driven mindset
13. Good communicator, articulate and confident with people, able to communicate at all levels
14. Can hold stakeholders to account and not be afraid to manage difficult conversations
15. Be a strong team player and work collaboratively across multiple disciplines within both Fashion and Home
16. Innovative and continuously looking for new ways of executing, with a customer first mindset
17. Proactively reviews existing ways of working, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and overall effectiveness
18. Clear and concise written communication (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Email)
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a flexible working style depending on the task in hand
20. Excellent project management skills and experienced in motivating teams, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication with stakeholders, and alignment with business objectives and brand strategy
21. Strong data analysis skills with experience in Adobe advantageous
This role is be based at either our Asda House (Leeds) or George House (Leicestershire) offices.
