11110 - 8-hour Prescription Delivery Driver - Permanent Contract. We are looking to recruit an 8 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work between at our 731-branch located at Mannock Medical Centre, Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1LT. The required working hours are: Tuesday 10:00-12:00, Wednesday 10:00-12:00, Thursday 10:00-12:00, Friday 10:00-12:00.
We are looking for an individual who is flexible, has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams. Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. You will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. You must be able to work under pressure to deliver prescriptions in the given designated period of time.
Responsibilities
* Deliver prescription items promptly and conscientiously to private residences, nursing and residential homes.
* Provide a high standard of customer service and represent the Cohens brand professionally.
* Plan and print daily routes using basic computer skills before starting deliveries.
* Adhere to company regulated procedures and attention to detail to ensure correct deliveries.
* Possibly assist with PR exercises to increase business.
* Work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Own vehicle required; personal insurance policy must allow for business use. Contact your insurer to confirm prior to interview.
* Vehicle business use refers to the vehicle and not its contents; the company may contribute financially to the business aspect of insurance upon receipt of documentation showing increased premium.
* DBS disclosure will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
* Very basic computer skills to plan/print routes.
* Excellent people skills and ability to work under pressure to meet designated delivery times.
* Flexible to the stated hours and location at Mannock Medical Centre, Wellingborough.
