We are excited to offer the opportunity to join the Neurological Outpatients team at Orpington Hospital, with the possibility of cross site working at Denmark Hill site.
The post holder will assist the physiotherapists to maintain a high standard of patient care by undertaking delegated clinical programmes of management and administrative duties to support the functioning of the department.
The post holder will work only under the direction of qualified physiotherapists and will require a period of induction and training of approximately three months, to achieve the required competencies to perform all tasks.
Main duties of the job
To work with the Neurological Outpatients Physiotherapy team, which is based at Orpington Hospital and Denmark hill.
Working with a small team of Physiotherapists, delivering outpatient Physiotherapy treatments to a wide range of patients and conditions.
Hold a small caseload of patients to provide individual patients to support with their rehabilitation programmes, working without supervision, but under the direction of the Physiotherapy team.
To support group exercise classes.
To support the administrative tasks of the team, and the role.
