Overview
Lydian Care have been awarded as a preferred supplier to a well-known supported living organisation with sites across Northern Ireland. We are currently recruiting for support workers for the Bangor area.
Responsibilities
* Work with individuals with mental ill health, autism, learning disabilities and dementia, providing high quality support services to a wide range of service users based on their individual care plans.
* Assist service users in their daily lives with personal and practical care support.
* Help service users learn and develop independence skills, including tasks such as shopping, cleaning, personal care and accessing the community.
Requirements / Essential Criteria
* At least 6 months paid experience within a clinic, supported living, hospital or nursing home setting.
* Previous experience in providing competent care to patients.
* Valid NISCC registration or will register – you cannot work in private sites without a valid NISCC.

* Location: Bangor area
* Employment type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
* Salary: £11.00-£22.00 per hour
* Schedule formats: 10, 12 or 8 hour shifts; Day, Night shifts; Monday to Friday; Weekends available
* Work location: In person
Requirements to Apply
* Ability to commute to Bangor (or relocation plan prior to starting).
* Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience: Home care: 1 year (preferred)
* Language: English (preferred)
* Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
