Duties:
9. Maximise workshop productivity and efficiency, ensuring optimal use of resources and labour
10. Oversee all workshop operations to uphold high service and repair standards
11. Lead, motivate, and mentor the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow
12. Liaise with the service reception team to plan labour levels and improve processes
13. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
14. Drive continuous improvement in workshop efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction
15. Ensure all work carried out is of the highest quality and complies with manufacturer guidelines
16. Manage recalls and oversee quality checks to meet customer expectations
Individual Specification:
17. Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally from a franchised dealership background
18. Strong organisation and leadership skills capable of managing a busy workshop environment
19. Excellent communication and people management abilities
20. Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service
21. Experience with DMS systems such as Pinnacle or Kerridge/CDK is advantageous but not essential, full training will be provided
22. Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and systems
23. Automotive technical knowledge, with a preference for experience within the main dealer environment
