2. Job Type: 12 Months Maternity Cover
3. Hours : hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
4. Job Location : Ellesmere Port
As an Account Manager you’ll be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of new customers' quotations, pricing and growth of key accounts. You will liaise and integrate with the wider SGS commercial team to ensure all opportunities on international accounts are maximised.
Key Accountabilities;
5. Ensure retention and strategic growth within a portfolio of accounts – maximising full revenue potential and growth opportunities.
6. Track revenue for all apportioned accounts against budget and forecast on a monthly basis.
7. Taking ownership of the Account Management plan.
8. Generate professional customer quotations following a full commercial validity check of each opportunity.
9. Prospect new accounts in line with External Sales and Group Marketing.
10. Compile (from operational & finance resources) and deliver monthly KPI reports to key accounts to demonstrate customer service excellence and highlight sales opportunities.
11. Visit customers based on the customer coverage model and account management plans when applicable for reviews, technical support, or delivery/arrangement of training.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need a proven track record within client account management and have previous experience of working in similar, client focused role.
In addition, you will also need:-
12. Good presentation skills (verbal & written).
13. Clean driving license.
14. Commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.
