If you haven’t already got warehouse experience, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to learn new skills, as experience isn’t required.
Your role will start with a structured induction and then ongoing training to support you within your role, allowing you to develop with this business that can offer you a long and stable career.
With sociable and set working hours of 8:00 to 4:30 Monday to Friday, your evenings and weekends stay free.
The warehouse is large, bright and very tidy so it offers you a nice working environment. You will work as part of a small warehouse team but also with colleagues in other departments.
The company will fund your training for you to gain your forklift license, and once you have this, you will operate the forklift truck.
As the business is transitioning to using scanners later in the year, you will have the chance to learn their new technology. In the meantime, you will be using paper based pick lists and documentation relating to orders.
You will be someone who enjoys following set processes and you will take pride in making sure you carry out tasks correctly. You will have deadlines to meet, so you will enjoy working with speed too.
Your role will play a vital part in delivering the outstanding customer experience the business is known for by:
* Picking and packing items securely
* Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks
* Meeting agreed deadlines for customer orders
* Working as a team
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment
This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week. You will get a 30 minute lunch break as well as a short break in the morning and afternoon.
