New Directions Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sensory Pathway Teaching Assistant to join our pool of support staff working across a range of SEND settings in Leeds ahead of the new Academic Year (2026/2027). This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating tailored, holistic learning journeys that help young people with complex and medical needs build essential life skills, improve physical development, and enhance overall wellbeing.
About the Role:
As a Sensory Pathway Teaching Assistant, you will support learners through a highly personalised approach that incorporates sensory integration, therapeutic activities, and structured routines. You will play a vital role in helping each child engage meaningfully with their environment and learning experience developing trust, independence, and confidence in themselves.
