Facilities Team Leader - Liverpool / Warrington / St Helens
Rate: £27 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary - Immediate Start (Potential to go Permanent)
Hours: Full-time
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites covering Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a variety of facilities services including cleaning teams, bulky waste collection, pest control, and general site maintenance.
You'll play a key role in ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard - keeping public and commercial spaces clean, compliant, and operational.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and coordinate multi-site teams (cleaners, bulky collection crews, pest control operatives).
Manage rotas, allocate workloads, and monitor performance and service standards.
Conduct site inspections, ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Support with hands-on duties when required.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities management or team leadership in a similar environment.
Strong people-management and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites (Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and proactive approach - able to start immediately.
