Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the commercial energy sector. Your primary focus will be on generating high-quality leads for the sales team by engaging with potential clients and promoting energy solutions that help businesses reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively identify and contact potential business clients via phone, email, and other communication channels.
* Qualify leads by understanding business energy needs and requirements.
* Schedule appointments for the sales team with decision-makers.
* Maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions in the CRM system.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, energy market developments, and competitor activities.
* Work towards and exceed lead generation targets and KPIs.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, or a related role is preferred.
* Strong communication and persuasion skills.
* Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with potential clients.
* Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach.
* Basic understanding of the UK commercial energy market is advantageous.
* Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
