Job Title: Legionella Remedial Engineer\nLocation: Northampton, East Midlands\nSalary/Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training & Benefits\n\nOur client is a well-respected Water Hygiene / Legionella specialist, with a nationwide presence and growing client portfolio. They are seeking a Legionella Remedial Engineer with a diverse skill range and hardworking attitude. You will be servicing clients along the M1 corridor, so candidates will ideally need to be local to this route.
The role will involve candidates being able to identify system faults in order to make repair recommendations. Salaries and benefits are competitive and include excellent training opportunities.\n \nLocations of work include: Northampton, Daventry, Bletchley, Bedford, Bicester, Oxford, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Dunstable, Sandy, Biggleswade, Banbury, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Didcot, Wallingford, St Neots, Cambridge, Witney, Thatcham, Evesham, Coventry, Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough.\n\nExperience / Qualifications:\n- Must have experience undertaking remedial duties within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company\n- Will hold plumbing qualifications such as: NVQ Level 1 / 2 / 3 in Plumbing, G3 Vented & Unvented\n- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines\n- Good literacy and numeracy skills\n- Hardworking attitude\n\nThe Role:\n- Undertaking a wide range of remedial duties across commercial, local authority, public sector and domestic sites\n- Deadleg removals\n- TMV servicing, replacements and installations\n- Tank inspections, refurbishments and installations\n- Cleans & disinfection routines\n- Valve and system component replacements, such as: RPZ valves and pipework\n- Ad-hoc water hygiene duties, such as: water sampling, temperature monitoring, showerhead descales\n- Completing regular service reports\n\nAlternative job titles: Water Hygiene Plumber, Plumber, Remedial Technician, Water Hygiene Engineer.\n\nFuture Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.\n\nWe would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.\n\nWe are inundated with applications, we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
