About Us:
We are a specialist Secondary SEN School based in L16, Liverpool, supporting pupils aged 11–16 with a range of complex learning difficulties, many of whom are working at a primary-level ability. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver personalised, differentiated lessons in core and foundation subjects, adapted for lower-ability learners.
Create a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom environment tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and therapists to ensure pupils make progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
Contribute to EHCP reviews, behaviour support plans, and progress tracking.
Promote independence, communication, and life skills alongside academic learning.

Primary teaching experience (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
A sound understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to work flexibly across key stages.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils with complex needs.
Experience in an SEN or special school setting is highly desirable.
