We are looking for a Business Development Manager who has a proven experience and a strong drive for sales. Join a team with strong retention -over 20 years of employment in the role. Experience in sales, contract hire/fleet management are essential. Fridge knowledge advantageous. You would be responsible for uncovering, nurturing and winning new vehicle contact hire business across a geographical area as well as Targeting multi sited customer fleets across a range of sectors of between 50>100 vehicles for the provision of commercial vehicle full-service contract hire, with a particular focus on SME business of 5-30 vehicle fleets. You will open doors, have meaningful conversations and build relationships that are based on truly understanding the customer's needs therefore winning business by building a true value proposition. *What can you expect from the role?* The position is based remotely and the working schedule is Monday - Friday, 37.5 hr week, 9am - 5pm though we do require a flexible approach to the hours worked as we appreciate the needs of the role may, at times, differ. * Develop and implement a sales plan to generate new customers, through cold calling, face to face, email & other channels to create new business sales opportunities and appointments. * Research and network to identify the key prospects within your region, proactively self-generating leads which convert into opportunities. * Visiting prospects/customers to promote vehicle contract hire fleet and service solutions. * Work with internal functions & marketing to promote, create and deliver a true value proposition in line with the customers' needs. * Develop innovative solutions to differentiate Fraikin and add value to new customers. * Create sales proposals, presenting quotations and technical drawings against customer requirements. * Deliver fleet volume, total revenue and contract value targets. * Continuously monitor competitors * Develop product knowledge and remain up to date on technological advances, legislation developments and how these can have a positive impact on both revenue and profits. * Promote the services of Fraikin's other core business functions, medium term hire, fleet management, raising inter-department leads and increasing customer growth and profitability. * Work with the customer service teams to resolve customer query to 100% satisfaction and ensure the timely customer payment. * Working closely with the customer service team and internal functions to deliver added value product growth. * Develop and build long standing commercial customer partnerships and relationships, working closely with the customer service team and internal functions to deliver added value products and secure additional business growth. * Supporting and working closely with key stakeholder support teams at our head office in Coventry *What are we looking for in you?* * Highly motivated and creative with some experience in sales within the commercial vehicle contract hire sector. * A wealth of knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry, in particular Contract Hire or Rental or linked industry e.g. vehicle manufacturer, vehicle bodybuilder, vehicle fridges, telematics/cameras. * Desire and hunger for finding Sales * Technical knowledge gained through experience or qualification. * Demonstrates a positive 'can-do' attitude with clear thought processes and excellent priority setting. * Demonstrates a winning mentality, with strong customer focus and creativity. * Sound commercial awareness and negotiation skills to close opportunities. * Able to prioritise and manage numerous projects and workload etc. * High level interpersonal & communication skills. * A self starter with the ability and passion to work effectively with minimal supervision while delivering sales targets. * Can present and communicate confidently in all situations. * Current clean driving licence. *What can you expect from working at Fraikin?* We care about our employee's experiences at work and recognise the positive impact that a great working environment can have on that.
