Job Description


We are looking for an experienced SCCM and Endpoint Management Engineer to join the wider End User Compute team. You will manage application packaging and deployment, OS deployment and upgrades, and Windows and third-party patching across our global estate of 16,000+ Windows devices.

This role is critical to ensuring a secure, stable, and well-maintained endpoint environment across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure.
* Package, test, and deploy applications across the enterprise.
* Design and implement OS deployment strategies including upgrades and refreshes.
* Oversee Windows Update and third-party patching processes.
* Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to ensure endpoint compliance and performance.
* Maintain clear and concise technical documentation and operational procedures.
* Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD/Entra ID configurations related to endpoint management.

Qualifications


What We Are Looking For:

* 2+ years’ experience with SCCM/Configuration Manager
* Strong knowledge of Windows client and server OS (upto and including current versions)
* Proficient in PowerShell or similar scripting languages. Interpreting and updating existing scripts as well creating new scripts.
* Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD/Entra ID
* Skilled in producing clear technical and non-technical documentation

Desirable:

* Familiarity with BitLocker management via MBAM, ConfigMgr, and Intune
* Experience managing Defender or other EDR solutions
* Knowledge of Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager and co-management
* Experience with Patch My PC or similar patching tools
* Comfortable working in a large-scale retail environment
