We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. You'll be supporting people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health challenges, or physical disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Pay rates:
Day Rate: £12.80 - £14.20
Evening Rate: £13.80 - £14.40
Weekend Rate: £13.80 - £14.40
Bank Holiday Rate: £19.50
Training Rate: £12.22
Travel Time: £12.22 + 38 Pence Per Mile
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
Support service users with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and attending appointments
Encourage independence and promote social inclusion
Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding protocols
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
Participate in care planning and regular reviews
About You:
Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
A valid driver's licence and a vehicle to be able to utilise for work
