Description
As a Payroll Advisor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time - every time. You'll manage end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, four-weekly, and monthly cycles, handling everything from timesheets and BACS payments to HMRC submissions and pension uploads.
Day to day
* Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple cycles
* Handle payroll queries and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with legislation
* Upload payslips, pension files, and employee data in line with GDPR requirements
* Conduct payroll checks, reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements and support wider business initiatives

Profile
You’ll have solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally across varied pay frequencies, and a strong understanding of PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory payments. A confident communicator with a keen eye for detail, you'll enjoy problem-solving and making sure every ‘i’ is dotted and every ‘t’ is crossed. Experience with payroll systems and Excel will be key, as will your ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
