Hey, I’m Diego, Head of Product Operations here at Updoc.
I’ve been building tech and operations for over a decade, and let me tell you—there’s nothing quite like working on something that genuinely changes lives. At Updoc, we’re shaping the future of healthcare and we’re looking for a product manager with a technical background to join our team and help us build operations and technology that connects patients, doctors, medical professionals, and pharmacies across the country.
Now, this isn’t your average healthcare gig. We’re scrappy, curious, and unapologetically nerdy. Our team comes from some of the best global tech companies—think Canva, Uber, Amazon—but we don’t have room for egos here. We thrive on collaboration, coffee-fuelled debates about healthcare service delivery, behavioural science and the latest technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Some days you might spend most of the day programming products in no-code environments while other days talking with users about their problems
* Balancing rapid iteration speed with the overall stability, security and modularity of our system in an agile team
* Working closely with stakeholders in product, design, growth and operations to develop the world's best health tech platform
* There will be some early morning calls with the Australian team
* Own projects from start to finish. If it breaks, we fix it together
About you
* Experience working with no-code and low-code platforms such as Zapier, N8n, Airtable, Jotform, Chatgpt, Webflow, Retool either for your own hobby projects or yourself
* You love solving people and process challenges as much as technical problems
* Some professional experience whether that's internships or working on a project of your own
There's a reason why we were awarded the Best Place to Work by the AFR:
* The team: We hire the best and brightest people and give you the autonomy to be innovative. This works well because we ensure psychological safety
* Psychological safety: You'll feel safe to share your ideas and feedback openly to all areas of the business
* Updocversity: Within our people function we have Updocversity where we operate as an educational institution where you can pick up new skills through structured programs
* Office wellness: Benefits including unlimited medical consultations and team building reflection offsites
* Diversity: 75% per cent of the team are culturally and linguistically diverse
How to Apply
* Skip the cover letter — we'll just ask a few short questions to understand your background and get your take on healthcare in the UK. We can’t wait to hear from you.
* Ready to build the future of healthcare? Need to learn more about the role? Send me through a Linkedin message of the coolest thing you have built with off the shelf no-code tools. This can be a proof of concept, something you hacked together, something you personally needed and ended up building with no-code tools.
