Key Responsibilities Lead the financial and technical control of painting and maintenance contracts from start to finish. Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed tenders. Identify and manage contract risks while ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety standards. Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships to safeguard project delivery. Monitor contract costs, record variations, and ensure timely payment applications and invoice processing. Deliver monthly contract value reports and manage aged debt collections effectively. Collaborate closely with project teams to improve commercial performance and maximise profit margins. Support pre-tender submissions and commercial decision-making within the branch. Comply with installer accreditation schemes and company policies consistently. What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor specialising in painting or maintenance within construction. Strong understanding of financial and contractual controls on projects. Professional qualification or equivalent industry standard. Full UK driving licence and CSCS card (Manager / Professionally qualified). Proficient in Excel and other IT tools. Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
