Overview
We have an exciting new role, Group Marketing & Communications Director. This role will lead and evolve our marketing and external communications function across the group, responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the groups marketing and external communications needs. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand(s), driving market engagement and demand generation, whilst also enhancing our market presence within the sector.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and implementing a Group Marketing & External Communications strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
* Partnering closely with Business Unit CEOs and the Group Management Team to embed marketing as a core business function. Providing strategic counsel on market positioning, customer engagement, and brand development.
* Developing an annual marketing roadmap that outlines key campaigns, initiatives, and milestones. Ensuring the plan supports both central and business unit-level objectives.
* Setting and managing the annual budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across digital, brand, content, and external communications. Monitoring spend and ROI to support continuous improvement.
* Leading the evolution of the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency, relevance, and differentiation across all touchpoints.
* Driving digital transformation across marketing platforms including website, SEO/SEM, social media, and automation tools increasing visibility and engagement.
* Owning the tone, quality, and consistency of all external communications. Overseeing the creation of thought leadership, case studies, and digital content that reflects the company's strategic narrative.
* Building and leading a lean central marketing team and establishing a marketing & communications community across business units.
* Providing hands on leadership in developing high-impact campaigns and strategic content. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective delivery.
* Establishing reporting and measurement of marketing performance to demonstrate impact on sales, lead generation, and brand visibility.
