Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a bespoke instrument manufacturer as a Field Service Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Install and maintain GC and a range of specialised detectors throughout the UK and internationally, providing customers with training and technical support.
* Support in-house repairs of instruments and collaborate with the applications team for bespoke client solutions.
Qualifications
* Relevant scientific or engineering qualification and background
* Excellent GC knowledge and troubleshooting ability, ideally gained in a field service environment
* Full driving license and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time with overnight stays
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build customer relationships
