In this role, you will: Develop the capability of our leaders and technical teams by giving access to the learning they need, when they need it, leveraging technology and in line with the Strategic goals of the business in order to improve individual and organisational performance. Create the L&D strategy which is aligned with organization and people strategy Ensuring consistent application of the L&D strategy across the Mills Develop training plan based on current and future skill requirements for the Mills in line with the L&D strategy Formation of the Mill training plans and strategies to address competence gaps and needs Overseeing Focused Development Plans closure and drive succession plans for critical roles at the Mills Conduct a GAP analysis based on FDP outcomes to identify training needs Champion Lean/Continuous improvement Manufacturing initiatives to drive efficiencies Design and implementation of Skills Matrices of Day and Technical employees overseeing the general management and running of Pivotal programs such as learnerships, internships and reporting Overseeing the monitoring of all assessments and assessment documentation and processes conducted within the Mills–quality assurance and record keeping Support Regional Talent Manager with K-C Leadership development programs Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and measure ROI of talent pipeline development and propose best practice solutions. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Developing and updating learning material and ensure all documentation are in line with the current National Qualification Framework Lead Capability Development role in new projects–customize operating processes and oversee the coordination of training for new / upgraded machines advice to businesses and sourcing of training providers for L&D interventions Quality assurance of training providers responsible for training delivery and overseeing SLA's with providers and adherence to these SLA's as well as monitoring renewals of SLA's to ensure they are updated Use training planning to determine budget requirements for training costs and overtime Costs annually and monitor and report the costs of training v’s plans About Us Huggies®. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Training and Development related qualification or relative experience Technical qualification a distinct advantage Experience in working with and consulting to a diverse range of employees (from site leadership teams to lower levels in the organisation).
